Microneedling
Microneedling (also known as collagen induction therapy) involves using fine needles to create hundreds of tiny, invisible puncture wounds in the top layer of the skin. Sound appealing? Not so much, but this is a minimally invasive treatment, virtually painless and incredibly effective.
“The micro-injuries the treatment creates, stimulates the body’s natural wound healing processes, resulting in cell turnover and increased collagen and elastin production, therefore reversing the signs of aging”, says certified dermatologist Sejal, Shah, MD.

Benefits of Microneedling
Anti-Ageing: Fine lines and wrinkles
The primary appeal of microneedling is its ability to stimulate
growth of collagen and elastin, which is key to new,
youthful looking skin. With its ability to trigger
the regeneration of new cells, just a few (two to four) sessions
of microneedling will noticeably reduce fine lines,
deep wrinkles and enlarged pores, not only on the face,
but it’s also very effective in tightening the neck, chest and hands.
Pigmentation
Collagen is arguably the most vital way to improve the look
of the skin, and this goes far beyond reducing wrinkles.
By stimulating collagen growth with microneedling,
you can also reverse sun damage and discolouration,
including hyperpigmentation that comes with melasma.
Scars and Stretch Marks
As well as the ability to smooth and tighten damaged skin, microneedling is effective in scar remodelling and improving stretch marks across the face and body. Minimal side effects and downtime are experienced with this treatment, as few as four to six treatments could significantly improve these problem areas.
PRP Infusion Therapy
PRP Infusion Therapy harnesses growth factors in your own blood to rejuvenate and stimulate skin, hair and body. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) uses platelets from your blood, injected into the skin to revitalise, tighten skin and restore volume.
The new cell growth activated by PRP lasts 3-6 months, helping patients’ skin heal naturally without the use of chemical substances. This reduces the likelihood of allergic reactions to foreign substances for patients who may have sensitivities products. Three treatments are advised for optimal results.

Chemical Skin Peel
A skin peel treatment involves a chemical solution applied to the surface of the skin to treat the epidermis and/or dermis. The action chemically loosens dead and damaged skin cells causing exfoliation and encouraging regeneration and rejuvenation of new skin cells. Skin peel depth can range from very superficial to deep, although several light depth peels can often achieve similar results to one deeper peel treatment, with less risk and shorter recovery time….the Secret Looks Skin Peel way!
